Be Proud

If you are reading this blog, you have already made progress.

Your life was suddenly turned upside down, and now it may feel like you can’t do anything right–even what was so easy before. We are all very hard on ourselves, and think it’s our own fault. But it’s not. Every day you are improving, even if you don’t see it.

Don’t beat yourself up – give yourself a pat on the back.

Be Proud

of the strength you find each day to work harder than you ever have before

Be Proud

of your successes. It’s so hard to see our own progress, so keep a log. Review it–days, weeks, months, later. The log will be your “memory book,” to remind you just how far you’ve come.

Be Proud

You are building a new future. Step by step you persevere with courage and strength.

Be Proud

of where you are headed. This is the work of a lifetime.

“Lewis Carroll said ‘It’s a poor sort of memory that only works backwards.’ I agree. If nothing else, I have regained a forward memory – my dreams – and with them a future.”
